Cheers for "Cheers"

Just a quick note to "Cheers" fans here.... The CinCW (WKRC-TV's digital CW affiliate) started airing "Cheers" at 10 & 10:30 pm Monday. I stumbled into the 1982 pilot at 10, and what followed looked like the second episode. So if they run the shows in order, you can to catch the first season of "Cheers" by setting the DVR for 10-11 p.m. the next couple of weeks. It's Ch. 20 on Time Warner, and Ch. 25 on Insight.
Thought you'd wanna know.
And I recommend going to Comedy Central to see Bill Gates with Jon Stewart last night on"The Daily Show," http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_daily_show/index.jhtml
or catching the replay at 8 p.m. tonight.

Hate to start the comments on a negative note but - Cheers? Who cares? Watched it in prime. Watched the re-runs on 12 for a few years. Sometimes watched the re-runs on FOX19 the past few years. But I've had enogh of the place where people know your name. Why would anyone care about re-runs on the CW? As matter of fact, when you think about it - CinCW is kind shaping up to be all the old syndicated product FOX19 no longer airs: Cheers, MASH, Married With Children. How long before they air Roseanne, Home Improvment, Grace Under Fire, Dharma & Greg? "CinCWhat19HasCanceled"

Not only did 64 make some changes but FOX19 announced today that Paul Horton is their new Chief Meteorologist. And my question...??? ARE THEY CRAZY???

Oh, and let's not forget how much we can "Trust" our brand new chief...

FYI: Since folks want to talk about Paul Horton, I've started a new string.

I was never a big fan of Rich Apuzzo, thought that he tended to cause a few panics. I for one don't miss him at all. Don't really care why he was canned, but at a weather person he left much to be desired

I wonder if WKRC has any numbers on how many people are watching CW?

The ratings are availible. Some nights and times are doing beating the wretched fare on MY64 - but that's not saying much.

Not a Fox weather fan at all! All the other stations have much better talent. Horton and Abati STINK!!!
