NBC Big Winner At TCA Awards

NBC's "Heroes," "Friday Night Lights" and "The Office" were honored as among TV's best programs at the 23rd annual Television Critics Association awards presented during the TV critics' press tour in Los Angeles.

Here are the winners. Since some of you have asked, I'll note my picks on my ballot for each category:

PROGRAM OF THE YEAR: "Heroes" (NBC) My pick: "Heroes."

OUTSTANDING NEW PROGRAM: "Friday Night Lights" (NBC) My pick: "Heroes."

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN DRAMA: "The Sopranos" (HBO) My pick: "Heroes."

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN COMEDY: "The Office" (NBC) My pick: "The Daily Show."

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN NEWS & INFORMATION: "Planet Earth" (Discovery)
My pick: "When The Levees Broke," HBO.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING: "Kyle XY" (ABC Family) No vote.

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN MOVIES, MINI-SERIES & SPECIALS: "Planet Earth" (Discovery) My pick: "When the Levees Broke," HBO.

INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT IN COMEDY: Alec Baldwin, "30 Rock" (NBC) My pick: Jon Stewart, "The Daily Show."

INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT IN DRAMA: Michael C. Hall, "Dexter" (Showtime) My pick: Hugh Laurie, "House."

HERITAGE AWARD: "The Sopranos" (HBO) My pick: "The Sopranos."

CAREER ACHIEVEMENT: Mary Tyler Moore. My pick: Mary Tyler Moore.
