Robert Hatcher Has Talent

Well, after six months, the national TV audience finally saw Robert Hatcher of Westwood sing an entire song tonight, Whitney Houston's "Run To You." Until now we'd only seen snippets, or clips of him jumping/crying for joy, on "American Idol" last winter (he made it to the Hollywood round) and now on "America's Got Talent" (top 20).

I was impressed, so were the judges. (if you missed tonight's show, it repeats Saturday night on NBC.)

Said Judge Piers Morgan: "I didn't think you stood a chance seeing the lineup for tonight, or the Top 20. I thought you did brilliantly to get this far. But I changed my mind. I changed my mind." Sharon Osbourne said he looked like and sang like a star.

"All you've got to do is come out here and smile. But you back it up with the talent... and it gets right to our heart," said Judge David Hasselhoff.

I say: He should have made it on "American Idol." He's that good. But maybe he can go a lot farther on NBC's summer talent show.

Can he win the $1 million?

I think that he can win, Its sad that if you look on nbc.com you can see the entire auditions of all the top 20 performers except his!! As a matter of fact he is the only one not shown in the videos at all, all the rest of the top 20 are. And he can actually sing. But I think if he comes bak strong on his next peformance he will do good. Hopefully they will air him more!!! But I think people are starting to ask why they arent showing him, its kind of unfair bte did Cincinnati well!!! Congrats to you Mr.Hatcher!!!!

I think this is one of the stupidest shows on TV and I fear it's a continuing trend on Network television now... I watched one episode and had a serious headache afterwards... Would anyone really think Mr. Hatcher is so great if he wasn't from Cincy? I'm 27 years old and cannot find anything worthwhile to watch! Now, 'How I Met Your Mother' is a great new show - Plus they give numerous shout outs to the Icky Shuffle. ;)

Robert I know you will make it to the top because the Lord is constantly watching over you! When I heard you were going to be on American Idol, I made sure to watch that episode. I haven't see this new show you "starring" in, but I will try to catch the next episode. It was nice running into you after seeing you on TV for American Idol, especially since it has been years since the last I saw you. Anyway, keep striving to do you best, letting no enemy bring you down because the Lord is your keeper. I will continue to pray for you!
