Ohio Lottery Moves To Channel 5 Today

Here's a heads-up to Ohio Lottery players: The live drawing moves to WLWT-TV (Channel 5) at 7:28 p.m. tonight, from Channel 9. The move comes after Channel 9 managers couldn't reach an agreement with the Ohio Lottery.
When the popular "Cash Explosion" game returns this weekend -- replacing "Make Me Famous, Make Me Rich" -- it will air at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Channel 5.
Midday winning numbers will be broadcast in a crawl across the TV screen bottom at 12:30 p.m., and posted at http://www.wlwt.com

Great! Now I won't have to watch it while I'm waiting for Jeopardy to come one. Wonderful news!

There has been a commercial on claiming the TV show is back due to extreme viewer demand. That seems hard to believe. Do you have any local ratings (do they even take any ratings of these things?)

Its more like extreme lack of interest in Make Me Famous, Make Me Rich.

make me famous was such a stupid game show. Cash explosion is a lot better. My question what happened to WSTR having powerball game show hosted by bob eubanks.

I have a daughter who is a senior in High School and was wondering if Channel 5 will do a "Best of The Class" like channel 9 did for so many years

Several years ago WLWT was the Ohio Lottey's Official Carrier but due to staffing issues they were not able to produce the Best of The Class. Fortunately for Cincinnati High School Seniors WCPO stepped up to produce the program.

So does Channel 5 have enough staffing now to do the Best of The Class this year?
