Rosecrans New Blog

C. Trent Rosecrans has a new gig. The former Reds beat writer for the Cincinnati Post and Cincinnati.com, and a rotating guest during WLW-AM's Cincinnati Reds games broadcasts, has been hired as Clear Channel Cincinnati's online sports blogger and on-air sports reporter. He was on the air this morning with Alan Cutler, who called him Rosencrans.

His blog is posted on the WCKY-AM 1530 Homer website at http://www.1530wcky.com/pages/ctrent.html

That's great news about C. Trent!! He built up quite a following while at The Post and it was going to be a sad Reds season if he wasn't manning a Reds blog somewhere...hopefully Clear Channel does something un-Clear Channel-like and appreciate the talent of someone they have!

John, you've just got to change the name of this blog. "Television" simply does not encompass the scope of what is covered here.

anyone besides me enjoy Tracy Jones more the last couple of days by himself than with Eddie Fingers?

Tracy, alone, is really good radio. Always been that way, always will....

Tracy is on alone today. I'm listening. The show is FAR more listenable with Tracy alone.
It has all of the great attributes which made his post-game shows so great. His wit, his tongue-in-cheek attitude.
Good radio!
I think that when Tracy is with Eddie, he falls down into this frat-boy nonsense that Eddie is known for.
Not appealing for adults to listen to. If the demo is 16 year olds, not a problem. But if they are trying to attract adults....

I'll listen while Tracy is on alone. Love it. But, when the duo is back together, won't happen...

I just left a comment elsewhere but am SHOCKED Folks "ENJOY" Tracy by himself?

Fake guests (shrink says pimp your parents) Mail order brides, trying to surprise his gf of 5 years with a "promise ring".

It's like WWF. Sheesh. Worse than the fake stunts with Willie and "helen Mays"...the fake stuff seems endless with Tracy.

I keep trying for 10 or 15 minutes at a time.

I admit, the stoned old FM disk jock sound with Eddie gets hold.

But this station totally stinks. I find I am getting more practice editing photos in peace and quiet or with WGUC.

Tracy's schtick is NOT FUNNY. I know tongue-in-cheek but frankly, I think Tracy's tongue is in another orifice.

Sorry.

I haven't talked to ANYONE who likes the WLW afternoon show, and 90% of them don't like it because of Tracy. The posters who like it may well be part of his crew of fake callers.

And John is the Enquirers TV/Radio critic. Just because they use the title Television should not baffle you. Relax.

C. Trent is a good writer and a great blogger, Clear Channel will likely mute that talent with their BAD websites and horrible from the top direction.

It's a great time to read books and catch up with movies on DVD.
