Children's Hospital Radiothon On WARM98
Dueling radiothons for kids? That's what we have with the sixth annual three-day WRRM-FM (WARM98.5) "Cincinnati Cares for Kids Radiothon" for Cincinnati Children's
WARM98 is broadcasting from Cincinnati Children's Hospital 6 a.m.-7 p.m. today and Friday, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. The station has raised more than $1.2 million since 2003 for the hospital.
Donations may be made online at www.cincinnatichildrens.org/radiothon or
www.warm98.com or by calling the radiothon hotline at 513-221-KIDS (5437). Among those volunteering at the phone bank Friday and Saturday will be Roberta Camp, Miss Ohio 2007.
The final tally will be announced at 6 p.m. Saturday. Last year WARM98 listeners donated $220,113.

What did you think of the snow coverage the other day

Sorry, but I didn't watch a lot of the TV coverage. I was out of town Monday night, and spent most of Tuesday morning trying to get the ice off my driveway. I won't offer an opinion, because I didn't watch critically, didn't monitor all the stations, and didn't take notes.

That's OK, John.
I am sure someone did all of that for you and will post their observations here soon. We can't possibly let "snow event" coverage go by without the usual 16 posts complaining about the weather map blocking the basketball score or the way the poor reporter had to go stand by the salt dome and get her hair all blown around. I am confident someone will have all kinds of earth shattering observations to share about the weather coverage.

Actually, it wasn't very windy prior to the snow, so the blowing hair wasn't a factor at the salt dome, or for the reporters watching vehicles fly by at I75 and Tylersville.
Everything else was as expected. Storm of the century PANIC MODE.

You forgot about the reporter in the newsroom reciting the latest school closings which were already posted at the bottom of the screen.
Check the ratings. That will tell the story.

hey kiese we are half way thru sweeps month. Any updates at the halfway point.
Does anyone know how much B105 raised during their radiothon and sent to Memphis instead of giving it to Cincinnati Children's? I'm serious, does anyone know how much?
