WMKV-FM Auction Today

A Crosley replica radio and a 78 rpm record autographed by Rosemary Clooney will be auctioned today by WMKV-FM (89.3), the nonprofit nostalgia station broadcasting from Maple Knoll Village in Springdale.

All proceeds will benefit the station and its programming. More than 30 items will be auctioned from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. They include:

--A Columbia recording of "Hey There" and "This Ole House" signed by Rosemary Clooney.
--An art-deco replica Crosley radio with CD player.
--Signed Jim Borgman "East/West" poster, a Hillary and Bill Clinton Cartoon and a "Zits" cartoon.
--An autographed Marvin Lewis football.
--A Cincinnati Arts package with tickets to the Playhouse, Pops, Ensemble Theater and Shakespeare Company.

John"When you say WMKV will auction something
TODAY, I have been out of town & have no idea when is today? But MKV has gone off their nice music track, they are into dumb afternoons of old 'talk' radio, or some stuff that we all turn off, we were hoping that good old radio, or even newer music, very easy to find on Music Choice on Warner Cable, would be saved on radio, but NO, they had to go to foolishness on air. So no one is donating any funds to help MKV.
Sorry MKV you missed your chance to benefit by being the ONLY one.
